Tutor Time
To ensure that our pupils are the best and become the leaders of tomorrow, our tutor period in the morning is an extended time for pupils and their tutor. This is an opportunity for pupils to discuss issues with their peers in a safe and supportive environment; the use of this time also supports the development of emotional literacy and pupils' social and communication skills. During the week pupils will also have an assembly with their year group and Head of Year. Over the week pupils have an opportunity to take ownership of and reflect upon their behaviour and achievements, in addition to participating in planned sessions which ensure that our pupils have the key skills and attributes required for success both at school and in the workplace. Skills covered include leadership, organisation, resilience, initiative and communication.
