VI Students Tackle Disability Sport

On the 10th October, students from the VI (Vision Impairment) Provision at Moor End Academy actively participated in a disability football tournament on our new 4G pitch. Teams from schools across Kirklees attended, with students of all ages, disabilities and needs taking part. This event gave our students the chance to understand the difficulties faced by others, and observe the same resilience and determination that they demonstrate, every day. The students were a credit to the academy, demonstrating great teamwork skills, showing respect and consideration to each other and students outside of the academy. They finished a very credible 2nd place. We are immensely proud.
