Perfectly Pi

Thursday 14th March saw the academy celebrating Pi day 2019. It was not only a fabulous opportunity to highlight the importance of Pi, but also gave a perfect chance to celebrate the importance of numeracy.

KS3 students took part in a Pi Day challenge and numeracy themed competitions; enthusiastic pupils excelled throughout the day!

The day was designed to show how numeracy is right across the academy curriculum and far beyond. Well done to the pupils of MEA for making the most out of the day.

Go down deep enough into anything and you will find mathematics.
