Festive Fundraising Hamper 2015
As you are aware, the Academy places strong emphasis on an education that encourages and contributes to the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of its students and a number of events were held over the festive period to raise funds:
- Festive Disco Friday, 11th December 6-8pm
- ‘Tinsel Tuesday’ Tuesday, 15th December
- ‘Almost...Strictly’ Tuesday, 15th December, 6-8pm
During the week beginning Monday, 14th December, we also raffled a festive hamper full of Christmas goodies, as well as a Diesel watch donated by a staff member. Tickets cost 20p and £200 was raised towards Academy funds. As some of our students’ parents run their own businesses, we asked, via a letter to parents, if they would like to contribute a chocolate item for the raffle, as well as encouraging local businesses to donate. We were able to provide two hampers bursting with Christmas fayre which were won by:
Eisa 7AKA who chose the ‘Diesel’ watch over the hamper.
Ihtishaam 9ASW who chose the hamper (fortunately!)
Miss Natalie Allan, HR Manager, who won the second hamper.
