Curriculum

The curriculum is WHAT we offer to students both inside and beyond the  classroom.  Following a comprehensive review of the curriculum the academy has returned to a three-year key stage 3 ensuring that our students are able to study a full key stage 3 curriculum and are prepared for the rigours of key stage 4.

As part of our vision of becoming a world class centre of educational excellence, we
strongly believe in offering a broad, balanced, rich and inclusive curriculum, where
each student is challenged academically and prepared with the knowledge and skills
relevant for adult life and employment.

We passionately believe that, as educators, we have the power and responsibility to
inspire our students to be the best they can be - to enable our learners to pursue their
dreams and become the leaders of tomorrow.

We want our curriculum to give our students the opportunity to be independent, articulate and engaged learners who are highly motivated; our curriculum is designed to
foster a love for learning, and students are disciplined in all lessons reflecting our core values of respect, ambition and responsibility.
