Beaumont Park Writing Event

On December the 9th Year 9 went to Beaumont Park for a day of gothic horror themed muddy adventure. We listened to spooky stories with Forest Schools, did grave rubbings in the cemetery looking at local history and performed spooky plays and made scary music at the bandstand and in the grottos.

On returning to school we wrote poems based on what we had seen in the morning. Despite being rather gruesome these were entered in the Beaumont Park Beautiful Poetry Competition. 4 talented ladies from the year group were chosen as winners and we are very proud that the winning poems will be published and will be part of the poetry trail.
